I bought this to increase my antioxidant intake. I use a little in my morning coffee 3 times a week. Tons of shilajit products out there – I have tried a handful and this one takes #1. The purity can be seen by how it dissolves in water. Have had other shilajit products that don¡¯t fully dissolve, leaving chunks of ¡°tar¡± (or whatever it is). This one is very clean, dissolving with ease. I am not a sommelier of shilajit, but the taste is clean, earthy, and slightly sweet at times. I use to take this in pill form… decided to try this liquify form it works much better. The key is to use it for a few months then stop for a few weeks & start again. It doesn’t taste great alone but I put it in about 2 oz of hot water with honey and do it like a shot it taste much better that way!
Failed frugalness –
I’ve only used it a couple times so I don’t know if it really does any of what they say it can. I will update if I notice anything in particular. No ill effects at least. To describe the smell, I’d say it is sort of like someone took swamp water, maybe a pinch of dog hair, mixed it with molasses, and thickened it over a smoky wood fire. It isn’t pleasant smelling. In the morning I heat a mug of milk, have a shot of white coffee (which is nuttier tasting but milder than regular coffee) and a little salted caramel. This stuff adds a hint of smokiness to the coffee is all, and I quite like it. It feels like working with tar that has melted on a hot day, or really thick sap, but it dissolves easily enough with a bit of stirring.
Cheaper but less effective –
Seems to not be nearly as strong as some other brands but can¡¯t complain to much for the price.. Probably best for beginners..

I read all the reviews and this sounded like good quality for a reasonable price, I was worried about the taste, but mixed with my tea it wasn’t bad at all! I can definitely feel the effects right away! The only down side so far is that they put a sticker on the side of the box covering some of the information.

Since starting with taking it I’ve cut back on other supplements that I was taking. I just don’t feel like I need them anymore. It was a little hard to open but that’s because of the resin. So this is the first time I’ve tried Shilajit so I’m not sure what to expect. I’m only giving 4 stars as I’m only 4 days in.So to start packaging was great! I received extra sticks which was a plus! It was a little hard to open (at first) but that’s because of the resin. Once opened I got an earthy smell which is to be expected. Most will not like but luckily dealing with gross things daily it didn’t bother me.My first dose was taken at night as I couldn’t wait until the morning. I simply scooped a little out and dissolved under my tongue. The taste wasn’t great but again it’s to be expected. After about 30 minutes an entire body calm came over me. Slept about 6-7 hours and it was the best sleep of my life.The second dose I took upon wakening by dissolving in my coffee (much better way) and I may have taken too much (600mg) as I felt fatigued for most of the day. My 3rd dose which was the very next day was the 300mg dose and I felt great. Not sure how to explain it but I’m calmly energized.. I’m not stressed I’m not running at the speed of light but I feel great.Not sure what to expect with this product but hopefully the seller can comment on whether this is normal or not.Overall I like it and I will be purchasing again!
Not the same as my Russian Shilajit –
This appears to be either from a region where the shilajit is different or in my opinion a bit watered down making it more runny than what I have always received from Russia. The Russian type is a solid tar and will not drip off of a stick. I always feel it is a good value for the money versus what mineral supplements cost and I even know of one medical doctor who waters it down much more and charges exorbitant fees for such as it is allegedly a measured dose. I have taken it for a long time and never had an issue with a bigger dose versus a smaller one.

My first experience with a Shilajit product, it was from Russia. Very thick and tar like… With a unique type of tar taste. This product does not have those characteristics. I initially felt that this stuff was nothing mire than organic black molasses spiked with fulvic acid (it practically tastes like black molasses and smells of it. All that toy say, it still works and gets the job done. Not as thick as I am accustomed to, but works! ????????

I enjoy the taste but not going to lie, it tastes weird kind of. I¡¯ve gotten compliments on how I look and lately I noticed I do look a little bit younger. Not sure if that¡¯s a known effect. This product specifically, comes in a nice box and is easy to know how much you are taking because it comes with measuring dipping sticks. It wasn¡¯t bad. This product is great!!! I have seen major changes in my energy. Before I would be sluggish after my morning coffee or tea. After using this product, after about a month I noticed I wasn¡¯t struggling with being tired around 1-2 PM like usual. It has also helped with cleansing my system. I have passed some parasites. Although the flavor is obviously harsh because it is resin , if you mix it in with your hot tea or coffee as I do, you cannot even taste it.
